Hi John. I was just diagnosed with ASD and need open heart surgery as well. I am very interested in going the robotic OHS thru the side method. My cardiologist said he feels it is a bit more painful in the beginning, but from what I have read you heal faster. I am 65 and in good health so hoping for the best outcome.
