What unexpected blessings have you experienced since becoming chronically ill?

Hi Everyone

"Every cloud has a silver lining" - I have found I look for silver linings since becoming chronically ill and realising I have a life sentence.

The best one for me is that I see much more of my family and am better engaged (I used to travel every week with work).

After my son became ill, we started taking more chances and saying "yes" to opportunities instead of finding reasons to say "no."
