I am just wondering how long people are taking Aspirin for after their procedure. I will be taking it for 18 months. Anyone else?

I was on it for the 6 months following the procedure. My doctor recommends continuing Aspirin for one more year after the 6 months. I am sure everyone will get different advice. Thanks for the reply Bryan.
My daughter took aspirin for 1 year post surgery.

She had her surgery on 1-12-11 at St. Joesph's Children's Hospital in Tamps, FL.
I don't need aspirin anymore my doctor said, but before I was taking it on a regular basis (before my surgery) he mentioned though that taking aspirin or aleve/motrin always with food is preferable for our stomach, with prolong taking of these its ideal, I always take it after breakfast, if not after lunch and I never had any problems for years
