Hi All. Please help if any suggestions or experiences. I had my ASD closed 4 years ago at 33years,which was mistakenly discovered during my second pregnancy. 37 years now and pregnant with my 3rd which was totally unplanned. I am perfectly okay health wise, I have a bit of palpitations here and there but nothing of major concern. Should I be worried ? What has your experience been with pregnancy post closure? I get worried if this could lead to other issues and symptoms that I have seemingly been free from so far!
Hi Kay, I got my Asd closure done at my 33 years of age through robotic surgery…it was minimally invasive…after that I planned for pregnancy and delivered a healthy baby…it’s been almost 2 years…I’m doing absolutely fine… Please go ahead… Check with gynecologist and cardiologist at regular intervals and everything goes smooth… wishing you all the best… sending you lots of love…
